Kulicke & Soffa to Further Strengthen its Presence in Asia with the Expansion of its Singapore Global Headquarters SINGAPORE --(BUSINESS WIRE)--May. 16, 2012--  Kulicke & Soffa  (NASDAQ: KLIC), a global leader in the design and manufacture of semiconductor assembly equipment, today announced the further strengthening of its presence in  Asia  with the planned expansion of its  Singapore  global headquarters. The Company broke ground today on the site of its planned state-of-the-art facility, which will add to the Company’s industry leading R&D and manufacturing capabilities and allow it to continue delivering the excellent service, support and innovative solutions its customers rely on.

Construction of the new headquarters is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2013. The 30,000m2 facility will be centrally located in Serangoon, within close proximity to the Company’s existing leased headquarters. This existing lease is planned to terminate in conjunction with the completed move.
