Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On May 1, 2018, Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the release of its financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2018 would be rescheduled. The press release included an announcement of the Company’s expected second fiscal quarter revenue. A copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report, and is incorporated by reference into this Item 2.02 as if fully set forth herein.

Kulicke & Soffa Reschedules Second Fiscal Quarter Earnings Call
Reports Revenue Expectations of Approximately $222 Million
SINGAPORE - May 1, 2018 - Kulicke & Soffa Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: KLIC) (“Kulicke & Soffa”, “K&S” or the “Company”), announced today that it will reschedule its fiscal second quarter earnings release. Financial results previously scheduled for distribution on May 2, 2018, are planned for release on May 10, 2018.
The Company also announced that it expects to report second quarter net revenue of $221.8 million, an 11.1% increase from the second fiscal quarter of the prior year.
